2025 Holiday Funding Drive

Donate now and have your donation matched 2-3x!  Your support matters – and now it can go up to three times as far!

Now is a great time to contribute to those in need. Our Holiday Funding Drive goal is $70,000 to help meet our YE2025 and Q1 2026 assistance commitments. Thanks to a group of anonymous Bridges & Balm donors who have pledged $21,000 in matching funds, we have two exciting new donation matching programs through the rest of 2025.

• 1:1 Match for Existing Donors: The first $250 of existing donors’ donations will be matched through the rest of 2025. This doubles the value of the first $250 of your donation!

 

• 2:1 Match for New Donors: The first $250 of new donors’ donations will be matched 2:1 through the rest of the year.  This effectively triples the value of the first $250 of your donation!

 

• Tax benefits: Donations to Bridges & Balm made before December 31 qualify for 2025 tax deductions. We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt charity, and donations to Bridges & Balm can reduce your taxable income for those who itemize deductions.

Our fellowship has always been built on informal support and the principles of mutual care. Unfortunately, the reality for some have been a lack of care and support, and today the challenges facing our vulnerable members have grown more complex and urgent. Bridges & Balm strives to respond to these evolving needs—a structured lifeline providing dignity and hope for those who have experienced the deepest wounds and who experience the most profound transitions.

​The holiday season is a wonderful time to consider the needs of our broader fellowship family around the world.  Bridges & Balm is a charity that focuses on our broader fellowship community and provides an ongoing external funding mechanism dedicated to both helping survivors of CSA/SA find compassionate care and healing they desperately need as well as assisting transitioning and resting workers with their basic living expenses. Bridges & Balm and other partner charities stand as a beacon of hope for survivors of sexual abuse and transitioning workers who need critical support during difficult times.

In the coming year, we will focus on helping resting and transitioning workers with short and long term living expenses and survivors with therapy costs, often collaborating with other survivor charities to maximize our impact. The needs remain urgent: we continue to see more survivors coming forward and more workers transitioning out of the work. As we all continue to  better understand the emotional and financial challenges of those who have been emotionally, spiritually or sexually abused, we anticipate a significant increase in the need for therapy and living expense assistance.

The holiday season presents unique challenges for our community members who are alone, facing financial hardship, or dealing with trauma. Your year-end donations can make up to three times the difference while potentially qualifying for tax benefits. We hope you will support us in our goal to help those with unmet needs in our fellowship community.
