Donor Meeting Registration & Privacy

 

Since privacy is a very personal thing, we want to enable you to select the level of privacy you are comfortable with in the Donor meeting.

 

Registration

Clicking on the registration link will take you to a Zoom registration screen like the one below.  

 

All the fields in the registration screen are required but if you want to remain anonymous, please enter “Anonymous”  or something similar in the First & Last Name fields. This is the name that will be displayed when you enter the meeting. Please make sure you specify your correct email address as Zoom will email the meeting link to the email address you enter.

If you later change your mind about the name you entered when you initially registered, simply register again with your updated name preference and Zoom will happily email you another registration link.  Just make sure you click the link from the correct email when you enter the meeting.

**Special Note** - If you are already logged into your Zoom account on your device, the First/Last Name fields may be pre-filled with your name.  In most cases you can overwrite these fields with text of your choice.  However, some corporate Zoom accounts don’t let you modify the name / email address fields.  If this occurs, you can login into your personal Zoom account (you can create one for free) and use that to register for the meeting.  If you have any problems with this, please email us at bridgesandbalm@gmail.com and we can register you under an anonymous name.

 


Entering the Meeting

When you enter the meeting, your privacy settings will be be as follows

  • Audio - Muted. If you want to speak, please raise your hand & we will get to you as soon as we can.

  • Video - Enabled.  Please disable as soon as you enter by clicking on the video icon (see below) if you would like to remain anonymous.

  • Participants & Display Name - Your display name will normally be whatever name you entered when you registered for the meeting.  To change your name during the Zoom call, click the "Participants" button, hover over your name in the list, click "More" (or the three-dot icon), and select "Rename" to enter your new display name. 

  • Chat (to meeting moderator) - Enabled

During the Meeting​
​

Once you are into the meeting, you will be able to toggle the following controls at any time by clicking on them.

  • Audio - Enable or Disable/Mute,  If you want to speak, please raise your hand & we will get to you as soon as we can.

  • Video - Enable or Disable

  • Participant Name - To change your name during a Zoom call, click the "Participants" button, hover over your name in the list, click "More" (or the three-dot icon), and select "Rename" to enter your new display name. 

 

If you prefer to remain muted during the meeting discussions, you can still post questions or comments to the meeting moderator using Chat. If you need any assistance during your zoom session, please send a chat message to the meeting moderator. Only the moderator will be able to see your message and will address as appropriate.
