Thank you for contacting us regarding housing

You've navigated to this page because you clicked on one of the links in the Housing Needed table associated with workers or survivors needing housing or you want to inquire about or list your property as being available in the Available Housing table.

Depending on your situation, please select one if the following:

  • List Available Housing - If you want to list your property in the "Available Housing" table below, please click here to provide more information on your property.  Once we confirm your information, we will publish it in the Available Housing table.  Note that only property descriptions and general location information will be published, and no personally identifying information will be made available throughout the process

  • Identify Potential Housing Match - If you have or know of available housing that could potentially be a fit for a former worker or survivor listed in the "Housing Needed" table, please Contact Us to provide more information on a potential match.  Please include the "Assist Code" or "Avail Code" as appropriate from the housing table and also provide us some method of contacting you so we can validate specifics.  If there appears to be a match with someone needing housing, then we will begin the process of verifying that there is a match.

  • Volunteer to be a Co-Signer - If you are willing to be a co-signer for a former worker or survivor that is trying to rent a flat or apartment, please click here. One of the biggest challenges that someone with adequate financial resources but no credit history or poor credit history has is getting approved for rental housing, If you have a regular income and an average or better credit rating, this is a way that you can provide a huge benefit for a former worker or survivor with no financial outlay and extremely minimal risk.

  • You Need Housing - If you need housing, please click here to provide us information about your situation.  Please include information similar to what is in the existing table and also provide us some method of contacting you so we can validate specifics and get you listed on the Housing Needed table as soon as possible.

If you are a former worker or survivor inquiring about a property listed in the Available Housing table, please Contact Us if any of the available options look interesting to provide more information on your situation and specific needs .  Please include the "Avail Code" from the housing table (included below for reference) and also provide us some method of contacting you so we can validate specifics.

Both interim (short term) and long term housing listings are extremely valuable.  Bridges & Balm is committed to helping workers or survivors navigate the path to safe, affordable and sustainable housing. Often this path consists of one or more interim measures before a long-term solution opens up, but achieving long term safe, affordable and sustainable housing is always the goal and focus.

Note:The term "Fellowship Community" anywhere on the Bridges & Balm website refers to people associated with the home church fellowship at any point in their lifetime.  There is no requirement that housing providers or housing assistance recipients attend meetings or even associate with meetings.  Bridges & Balm will act as an intermediary between those who volunteer housing and those who need housing to make sure that there is alignment on any expectations before initiating contact between the parties.

What Happens Next?

Please visit the Housing Needed and Available Housing tables in the Housing Exchange page often!  We keep these lists updated as we are notified of those with needs,  property changes and newly available properties.

If you think there may be a match between a property and a need, please contact us.  Once we identify or become aware of a potential match, we initiate a process to determine alignment.

We're In This Together!

For resting/transitioning workers and survivors investigating and navigating housing options, Bridges & Balm will ensure that there is an active advocate working hand in hand with you.  You are not in this alone.   For those of you applying for public housing assistance we will make sure there is assistance in each step of the process.  For those contacting us with a potential fellowship housing option, we will act as an independent third party to validate specifics with each party before supplying contact information.
