Partner Spotlight: Renewal North
Periodically, we will use this space to provide updates on partner organizations who are walking beside us in this work. This Partner Spotlight describes the important work of Renewal North, a sister nonprofit organization based in Canada.
Renewal North is a non-profit corporation in Canada made up of volunteers who are committed to supporting abuse survivors and transitioning workers who have been associated with the two-by-two fellowship community. Our mission is to offer compassionate, practical assistance to people who need support as they pursue healing, stability, and renewal. We are currently able to provide support in Canada only.

At Renewal North, we provide support in two main areas.
Our CSA/SA Assistance Fund supports individuals who have survived child sexual abuse (CSA) or adult sexual abuse (SA) perpetrated by someone within or connected to the fellowship. We recognize the deep and lasting impact of these experiences, and are committed to providing confidential, accessible, and compassionate support as survivors navigate their healing journeys. More information is available on our website.
We are honoured to partner with Pathways to Healing Network (P2HN). They assist survivors in accessing care. Our collective approach prioritizes each survivor’s privacy and agency, while providing support that is personalized and respectful. You can contact P2HN directly by clicking here.
Assistance from Renewal North through P2HN may include one-time or recurring support for:
● Qualified therapists
● One-time or ongoing treatment
● Other health care as required
● Resources for crisis situations
● Housing support coordination
If you are a survivor in Canada seeking such support, please contact us by clicking on this link. If you are interested in our goals and want to find out more about how you can help, please visit our website for more information.
Our Transitioning Workers Fund offers compassionate, practical support to transitioning workers—individuals who have served in the ministry but are no longer active due to health concerns, age, emotional challenges, or a transition stemming from personal incompatibility or disagreement with regional administrators. This fund is fully independent of the ministry and is not intended to replace the responsibility of the ministry and fellowship to care for their own.

We recognize that many transitioning workers may have limited experience managing personal finances. Some may be entering the workforce for the first time or returning after years away. Assistance from Renewal North may include one-time or recurring support for:
● Living expenses
● Transportation
● Healthcare costs
● Job retraining or educational programs
● Assistance navigating rental applications, resumes or social program
Please note that Renewal North will not provide assistance to alleged perpetrators with reasonably substantiated allegations. We also reserve the right to deny funding to workers who have enabled perpetrators through their conduct.
